Set up secure printing on the computer connected to your printer. Setup installs or updates QZ Tray, adds the InventoryOS public certificate and opens Printer Setup.
If setup reports a backend problem, download the diagnostic into your backend folder and run node .\check-printing.cjs in PowerShell. It checks the existing signing files without changing them. It does not print passwords, private keys or file paths.
Keep your .env and private key on your PC. Only share the PASS / FAIL messages if you need help.
On Mac, if the downloaded command will not open, allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security, then open it again. If it opens as text, use Open With → Terminal. Setup only restarts QZ Tray, so finish any print jobs first.
QZ Tray is for desktop computers. On a phone, use the mobile or browser print option.
Arrange your storage locations from top to bottom.
Picking uses the fewest locations first, then prefers those with fewer locations above them. You can still choose a different location after consolidation. Blank positions are treated as empty space.
Select one inventory in the header, then open Stack order.
